BioOK, here's the deal. I need another internet-time-sucking-vortex like I need a hole in the head.
Let's just say I was strongly encouraged by a few folks that I love to join up. I won't use the terms "extreme guilt trip," or "coercion under serious threats to life and limb," but let's just say they were very convincing.
Here is my bio which I am shamelessly copying from my Friendster profile because I really should be studying acid-base physiology instead of toodling around on LJ.
I'm a med student trying to become the doctor my mother always wanted me to marry.
I recently practiced my suturing skills on a slab of pig skin. Gross and unkosher, it's true, but certainly less gross than cadavers, believe me. Plus, I didn't see any of you rushing to let me practice on your skin, so...
(**UPDATE!** I actually got to put those suturing skills to work on a living, breathing person recently! Perhaps that terrifies all of you potential patients out there who are now thinking to yourselves, "Good lord, what if the next time I have to get stitches, they let some med student at me who has only practiced on pig skin?!" To that I reply, "At least I had practiced beforehand." Perhaps you should take a moment and send a silent thank you out to that slab of pig skin, eh?)

I'm an excruciatingly shy extrovert. You dig?
I blush easily even though I don't embarrass easily. I should probably get that under control before I become a doctor and have to talk to people about their unmentionables.
I really, really, really hate wax paper. I can't say why, exactly. I just do.
On a more positive note, I absolutely adore brunch.
